The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
